The renovation of Castel Pietra aims to preserve one of the most interesting castles in Trentino while offering a choice for its revival as an accommodation structure. The plan and the direction of the construction yard is first focused on strengthening the foundation and on the horizontal structure (lightening and strengthening the stone vaults and the wooden attics). Under the supervision of the Cultural Affairs Commission, meeting halls, services and plants are positioned with the utmost concern for the existing materials and buildings. In other words the plan is a sort of itinerary to discover stones, spaces, views,  passages of the past, making  very little amends,  just  those needed to obtain a result that is suitable to the new uses but original architecture is put into evidence as well as  the  historical tradition is respected and  appreciated .
