Plan for the remediation of the area, masterplan, renovation of the old power plant: three stages meant to renovate one of the most important and interesting disused industrial areas in Northern Italy. Since aluminum bars were produced here for decades, the first intervention concerns the cleaning up of the pollution underground because of the materials still layered there. The collaboration with a geology and environmental engineering studio is needed in this stage. Meanwhile a masterplan is produced which proposes the restoration of most of the existing volumes to be turned into highly advance craftsmanship activities. The third phase regards the executive plan for the power plant located in a very interesting building dating back to early 1900, with electric turbines moved by the water of a canal detouring the nearby Adige River. Here are now exhibition itineraries, meeting places and conference halls created by renovating the picturesque inlet canals and the large hall of the generators decorated according to the typical style of old power plants.
