A new multifunctional and flexible “green area” in the new Doha. The sandy dunes of Qatar desert become the “dunes of the park” which show a new landscape. These dunes follow the same direction of the ones in the desert – and protect from the strong northern winds that often blow in the country. The dunes also define the morphology and the functional structure of the park creating a flexible but very peculiar system.  Facilities and areas of the park are all well identifiable: the botanic garden and its Arabian landscapes, the Science Centre, the sports facilities, the performance area, the Family Park, the boutique, restaurants, bars, residence, the monorail and the parking lots.
