This project is a proposal for a new development of an important central urban site in Rovereto. The 11 storey building has quite a narrow map, like all other blocks in this area including the two beautiful blocks “Venezia” and “Milano” designed by the Expressionist architect Luciano Baldessari in the ‘60s. The aim is to create a multifunctional urban space on the ground floor, with green spaces at every level of the tower. These levels with plants face the “Venezia” block by Baldessari, whose shape enhances an Expressionist vision of the mountain terracings of Trentino. Besides the plan is mainly focused on the idea of the gardens developed at various levels of the buildings, that is now so much debated in present architecture.
